You are
in the Cave of Destiny
You are in a shadowy cave lit only by candles.
It is impossible to discern how big the place is as the depths are obscured
in shadow. In front of you is a desk with two candles on it.
A few scrolls lay on the desk, and there are drawers down the side.
Beyond that are some strange rock formations. To your right you hear
gurgling water, though you can see no source for the sound. Behind
you, just very little daylight shines from the crack through which you
entered. From the rock formations ahead there is strange beautiful
music emanating. You wonder, could there be people living in the
shadows?
